Guppy Grass

$10.00
Sold Out

Guppy Grass (Najas guadalupensis) has the distinction of being a no-maintenance plant that removes heavy metals, toxins, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates from the water column while producing oxygen.

It is a fast-growing plant that consumes almost every free nutrient in the tank to prevent algae growth. Small fish will also use it as a spawning mop, and as cover for dropping fry. It provides hiding for newly dropped fry and gives them a continuous source of microscopic food, such as infusoria.
